Operations Executive


[Location: Aranda Country Club]


Job Description

The Executive shall report directly to the Operations Manager / General Manager on a daily basis. 

The role encompasses four key areas of responsibility:

  • Operations & Facility Management
  • Duty Management & Guest Relations
  • Procurement & Vendor Management
  • Supervision & Administration

A. Operations & Facility Management

  • Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations and Club facilities to ensure smooth service delivery and adherence to expected standards.
  • Perform simple general maintenance and minor repair works required to maintain facilities in safe and good working condition.
  • Supervise, guide, and coordinate in-house technicians to ensure timely maintenance of premises and equipment.

B. Duty Management & Guest Relations

  • Double up as Duty Manager and work on rotating shifts including weekends and Public Holidays.
  • Monitor and maintain orderly behaviour of members and guests, addressing any feedback or complaints promptly in person, over the phone or via email.
  • Prepare and submit a written Duty Manager report at the end of each shift.

C. Procurement & Vendor Management

  • Source and obtain competitive quotations from suppliers and contractors, seek necessary approval and prepare purchase requisitions.
  • Ensure all agreements and contracts are in force and renewed at least three months prior to expiry.
  • Work closely with Orchid Country Club and/or NTUC Club to aggregate procurement of goods and services where applicable.
  • Conduct comparative sourcing of quotations for all procurement processes.
  • Assist in the preparation of approval papers for procurement of goods and services.

D. Supervision & Administration

  • Assist in the supervision of tenancy matters and managing tenants to ensure compliance with Club policies and lease terms.
  • Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the management from time to time. 

    Requirements

    • Minimum Diploma or Degree qualification
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
    • Pleasant disposition and a strong team player
    • Courteous and service-oriented
    • Able to work under tight timelines
    • Required to work on weekends, subject to work schedule
